Syracuse Habitat for Humanity Progress

Ground has been broken and progress is being made at the site for two new homes by Syracuse Habitat for Humanity. Aaron Leentjes, Design Engineer, attended the ground breaking ceremony on March 23 at the Hixson Avenue site. As of this week, foundations have been completed. The blockwork was completed in one day with 27 volunteers on site. The rest of the masonry should be completed in the next few weeks.

We are proud to be on the collaborative team working with Syracuse Habitat for Humanity and Aptum LLC and the Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) Upstate New York Chapter to test out a new model for the development of Habitat Houses in Syracuse.
