University at Albany ETEC 2020 Nearing Completion

Construction at the University at Albany's ETEC 2020 Complex is nearing completion.

Ryan Biggs | Clark Davis provided structural engineering services for the $180 million Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurship Complex (ETEC) located adjacent to University at Albany on the Harriman State Office Campus. The 245,000-square-foot building will house the University's first-in-the-nation College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity. The facility will also be home to the Department of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences, the Atmospheric Sciences Research Center, and the New York State Mesonet, a network of 126 weather stations across the state. A pedestrian path connects the ETEC facility with the Uptown campus. The building will be open to host students returning in the fall.
