The Food Pantries for the Capital District 11th Annual Harvest Evening Celebration
Jill Shorter is attending The Food Pantries for the Capital District 11th Annual Harvest Evening Celebration.
The benefit is taking place at the Franklin Plaza in Troy and will feature “The Food Pantry Chef’s Challenge” in which local chefs create tastings incorporating food items commonly stocked at local pantries. Proceeds benefit the continued work of the Food Pantries as they help to provide over 65 member pantries in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties with needed food and personal hygiene items. In 2021, the Food Pantries provided more than 52,000 people with 2.5 million meals in the four-county area.
