Construction Update: 1540 Broadway, NYC

Our work continues on a project at one of the busiest corners in the world at 7^th Ave and West 45^th Street, right in Times Square.

We designed the LED sign structure with North Shore Neon and our scope involves global modeling, connection design, and construction administration services. The sign structure is comprised of a series of Vierendeel Trusses that support the LED Sign along with four catwalks for access and maintenance. We utilized the existing spline rail structure on the existing building to attach the trusses to. Once complete, the sign will be roughly three stories tall, spanning 102’ along 45^th Street and 180’ along 7^th Ave with 192 LED Cabinets.
