Congratulations Meera Ramesh

Congratulations to Meera Ramesh, PhD, P.E., for passing her Professional Engineering (PE) exam.

With the firm since 2021, she provides structural engineering design, analysis, and restoration support for many of the firm’s historic preservation projects in the educational, religious, and cultural market sectors. She earned her Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Birla Institute of Technology in India, and Master of Science (Structural Analysis of Monuments and Historical Constructions) from University of Minho in Portugal, where she also earned her PhD in Civil Engineering. Her doctoral research was focused on studying the influence of lime in mortars on the mechanical behavior of structural unreinforced masonry and involved extensive laboratory testing. She has co-authored and reviewed multiple scientific journal and conference articles on mortars and grouts and is a member of the Existing Masonry Committee of The Masonry Society, and the Technical Committee 277-LHS (Lime based repair materials) of RILEM.
