The Commons Area addition was constructed within a U-shaped area formed by the footprint of the existing Health Care and Community Center wings of the facility. The roof of this addition is steel-framed.
The Skilled Nursing Facility and the Independent Living additions are wood-framed, with the lateral systems comprised of wood stud shear walls.
The construction cost was approximately $29 million.
