The Village Club at Jackson Gore
Housing & Residential
Ryan Biggs | Clark Davis completed the foundation and structural design for this four-story, 250,000-square-foot facility at the Okemo Ski Resort in Ludlow, Vermont.
The building houses two restaurants, a day lodge, retail space, and 117 condominium units.
Some of the key architectural features include a two-story “breezeway” through the center of the structure, a parking garage at the lower level, and an octagonal-shaped day lodge at the north end of the building.
The four-story, wood structure was framed on a structural steel composite floor “table top” at the first level.
The wood floor trusses, typically spanning 30 feet, allow mechanical and electrical utilities to run within the truss depth.
The building was constructed on an extremely tight schedule to allow the facility to open for the ski season.
