Ryan Biggs | Clark Davis provided the structural design of a new campus for the New York State Police Troop G.
The complex, situated on 42 acres, houses administrative, investigative, training, and support facilities for State Police operations in the Troop G region, which includes 10 counties.
The campus includes an 83,000-square-foot, two-story, steel-framed headquarters building. The facility incorporates a communications center, a traffic management center, and a forensics crime lab. The multi-agency control and incident command center resembles an FBI or military control room you may see in the movies.
The building uses steel plate shear walls for lateral load resistance.
