Ryan Biggs | Clark Davis provided structural, site, and civil engineering services for an addition to the existing Roman Catholic Church.
Site and civil engineering services included an expansion to the parking lot and reconfiguration of underground utilities.
Structural engineering services included a one-story, slab-on-grade addition circular in plan and a one-story link between the existing church and the new addition.
The sloped roof is circular in plan with a 124-foot diameter placed on a curved CMU wall below and is framed with a center compression ring supporting a cupola with a diameter of 23 feet.
The octagonal cupola sits on the center of the roof and is topped with a stainless steel clad cross.
The stained glass used in the parish was repurposed and restored from local Roman Catholic Churches that had been closed in a consolidation effort by the Diocese; the organ also comes from a local church that had been closed.
