The Goodnow Flow Dam is an earthen dam owned by the Goodnow Flow Association, a private landowners association in Essex County, New York.

The existing dam is about 330 feet long and has a maximum height of about 18 feet.

Ryan Biggs | Clark Davis designed a new 32-foot-long concrete spillway to replace an existing deteriorated outlet structure.

The new spillway includes movable weir gates to control seasonal variations in the water level and retains up to about 16 feet of water head at the maximum pool elevation.

The design included strengthening the existing earth-filled dam to meet current design standards with the addition of engineered fill on the downstream slope of the dam
